Carlos Noom Quomah Baleba is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays a midfielder for both Brighton in the Premier League and Cameroon national team. Baleba started his football journey at Futur Soccer FC in his hometown Douala later joining EF Brasseries du Cameroun.
In 2022 he moved to France after being signed by Lille where he featured in 13 games for Lille youth before being promoted to Lille senior team the same season. After just one year with Lille, Baleba transferred to Brighton. He made his international debut for Cameroon on 8th June 2024.

The defensive midfielder began his football career at Futur Soccer FC a local football club in his hometown Douala. In 2017, he moved to EF Brasseries du Cameroun academy at the age of 13.
A year later after attracting scouts from overseas he joined Lille football club in France. Upon his arrival he joined Leny Yoro and both of them started playing for the reserve team. At Lille, Baleba made appearances for both the reserve team and the senior team in the 2022-23 season. He made his professional debut on for Lille on 7 August 2022.
Brighton & Hove Albion
In 29 August 2023, Carlos Baleba joined Premier League club, Brighton. According to reports, the transfer fee was reported to be €27M plus €3M add-ons depending on sporting conditions and 15% sell on clause.
